      General Policies

      Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Please inspect your items upon receipt. Products marked "Final Sale" are not eligible for return.


      Refunds are only available on products in their original packaging. If the product has been installed, packaging destroyed or is otherwise not in its original condition, the product cannot be returned for a refund.


      For items purchased as part of a multipack, bundle, or kit, all products within the pack, bundle, or kit must be returned together. Partial returns of these items will not be accepted.


      Returns sent “collect on delivery” will not be accepted.


      When we receive your return, we will issue a credit equal to the product purchase price using the same method you used to pay for the order.


      Once an order has shipped, the shipping fee is non-refundable.

      Thermostat Returns

      Before you open/install: use the "Check for System Compatibility" link on the product page to ensure the product is compatible with the wiring in your home.

       

      Need a hand installing your new thermostat? Visit the DTE Contractor Database to find an installer near you.

       

      Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Please inspect your items upon receipt.


      We cannot refund you for thermostats that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in their original condition.

       

      If you experience a defect in your wifi-enabled thermostat, please reach out to the manufacturer for troubleshooting assistance.

       

       

      Air Purifier Returns

      Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Please inspect your items upon receipt.


      Refunds are only available on products in their original packaging. If the product has been installed, packaging destroyed or is otherwise not in its original condition, the product cannot be returned for a refund.

      TrickleStar Advanced PowerStrip Returns

      Advanced Power Strips are intended for home entertainment centers and computer work stations. When the TV or computer plugged into the “control” outlet is on, the accessory devices plugged into the “switched” outlets turn on as well. Accessory devices are usually items like speakers, gaming consoles, printer, etc. All these devices will continue to get power until you turn off the TV or computer. When your TV or computer turns off, so do all the accessory devices. Note that the green switched outlets do not turn on unless the TV or computer in the control outlet is also turned on.       Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Please inspect your items upon receipt.


      We cannot refund you for power strips that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in their original condition.


      For assistance returning a power strip, please Contact Us and provide the following information:
      1. What device was plugged into the Control Outlet? This is usually a TV or Computer. Was the TV or Computer turned on during testing?
      2. What device(s) were plugged into the green Switched outlets? These devices will receive power only when the TV or computer plugged into the Control outlet is turned on.
      3. What threshold setting are you using? Low is for Laptops, Medium is for desktop computers, and High is for larger TVs, but could vary depending on your specific equipment.

        Defective Items

        If an item you order fails within one year of delivery, it can be replaced or returned for a refund at the discretion of DTE. Please Contact Us for assistance.


        If the item fails within the manufacturer’s warranty term, we reserve the right to refer you to the manufacturer for replacement.
